Mission and Purpose

EVERY. ONE. TOGETHER.

BIBLICAL CALLING:

We are called by Christ to make disciples. We are commissioned to be His ambassadors—representatives of the King to a “foreign land.” We are commanded to not be ashamed of His Message but to proclaim this Good News to those we have been sent to reach. He equipped us with His Word which is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that we may be thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We have our mission, and we have our message. We possess everything we need for life and for godliness. But most of us don’t know our Bibles well enough to apply its instruction to everyday scenarios. Many of us don’t understand the Gospel well enough to share it with another person. This is where the Biblical Counseling Hub comes in.

BIBLICAL TRAINING:

Our passion is to motivate and mobilize all Christians in our communities to reach those God brings into our lives with the Gospel. We provide evangelism and discipleship training and resourcing for the Church, through seminars, conferences, mentoring, preaching, and teaching. We will provide significant, practical resources and opportunities to help all Believers participate in the Great Commission. As we build these learning communities, we will pray for personal and corporate revival and challenge one another to holy living under the headship of Christ and power of the Holy Spirit.

BIBLICAL COUNSELING:

Biblical counseling is one way to accomplish the mission of reaching every person in our communities. We come alongside individuals in the midst of difficult situations with the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Biblical counseling has two audiences:

1. Non-Believers: many in our world today are searching for healing and hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ. As non-Believers come to our team for counsel, we will boldly and confidently share this solution to satisfy their deepest longings. Those who respond will be challenged to become involved in a local fellowship where they will continue to grow in their faith and be trained to disciple others.

2. Believers: as Believers we are being sanctified—being made more like Christ—as we journey through life. All of us at times hit rough spots where we need other Christ-followers to come alongside and encourage us. All counselees will be asked to find a discipler to walk alongside them moving forward.

“Every. One. Together” provides the vision behind starting this new ministry. Every Christian in our communities reaching every non-Christian with the Gospel, one relationship at a time, together as the body of Christ.

WELCOME TO THE BIBLICAL COUNSELING HUB

WHAT IS BIBLICAL COUNSELING?

Biblical counseling is a practice that is based on the belief that the Bible is the ultimate source of truth and offers guidance, wisdom, and insight that helps individuals overcome their struggles and challenges in life. At the Biblical Counseling Hub, our desire is to make disciples through the avenue of biblical counseling by partnering with the Church to provide biblical counseling, training, and resourcing.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Biblical counseling—to help those who need help through the Gospel and the Word of God.

  • Biblical counseling training—as Believers, we practice “one-another care.” We desire to help raise up hundreds of counselors in our local communities to provide healing and hope to those around us.

OUR VALUES:

The Gospel, our only hope

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." —Mark 16:15

Our passion at the Biblical Counseling Hub is to reach every person in our community with the Gospel. Biblical counseling is one way to accomplish this—reaching people where they are with the Word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every Christian reaching every non-Christian with the Gospel.

The Word of God, our absolute authority

“I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole counsel of God.” —Acts 20:27 (NIV)

Our approach to biblical counseling is rooted in the belief that the Word of God is sufficient for all our spiritual, emotional, and relational needs. We do not rely on secular theories or techniques but rather on the timeless wisdom and truth of the Bible. Through an understanding of the truth of God's Word and the depth of His love and grace, biblical counseling can lead to true and lasting healing and transformation.

One-Another Care, our universal calling

“I am convinced that you are competent to counsel one another.” —Romans 15:14 (NLT)

Biblical counseling is based on the principle of "one another care," which is caring for one another within the Body of Christ, supporting and helping each other through difficult times. At the Biblical Counseling Hub, we emphasize the importance of relationships in the context of community in the healing process.

Always-Free Counseling, our firm commitment

"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." —Galatians 6:2 (ESV)

At the Biblical Counseling Hub, our counseling is always free. We know that biblical counseling can have a transformative impact on people's lives by helping them find healing, restoration, and growth in their relationships with God and others. We believe this should be accessible to everyone who seeks it.
