This training will answer

  • What is biblical counseling?

  • How is biblical counseling different from other forms of psychology or Christian counseling?

  • Why biblical counseling?

  • What does it mean when Paul says we are all competent to counsel?

  • How do we counsel with compassion and care?

  • Why is it important to consider the inner man and outer man in biblical counseling?

  • How do we deal with the past in biblical counseling?

  • How do we most effectively use the Hub Resource, including the 15-week curriculum, to effectively counsel others?

    • How do we renew our minds through the study of theology, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit?

    • How do we integrate specific counseling issues, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and marriage struggles into our counseling?

    • How do we identify and integrate general counseling issues, such as anger, pride, and emotions into our counseling?

  • How do you continue your training and/or certification through ACBC if you so desire?

Hub Training is part of a package that includes access to the Hub Community and the Hub Resource. The cost is $120 (or $10 for 12 months).

  • Hub resources include a robust training manual and Head, Heart, Hands Counseling Guidebook. These resources will help give you the confidence to help others identify, uncover, and work through the source of their struggles with the deep truths of God’s Word in a practical and relevant way.

  • Hub Community is a place where you will connect with other like-minded individuals who are engaged in biblical counseling and discipleship. You will have the opportunity to participate in online discussions, receive mentoring and coaching, ask questions, share your own insights and experiences, and pray for each other and those we counsel.
